Junaid Akram is one of those comedians who does not need an introduction. Junaid has become a brand in itself. He is not only a comedian anymore. His witty statements and favorite punch lines have become a part of the merchandise he owns.

From his ‘Ganji Swag’ to the most famous words ‘khalli karao’, everyone knows all about him and drools over his wit and humor. He is an epitome of how a person should be, how one should follow his heart and become the king of his dreams. He has won millions of hearts with his videos with a slight elegant and desi touch.

Junaid Akram also actively participates in social work. Since in his own work, he speaks about education, it also reflects in his social work be it his library project or government school renovation.

“A Novel Idea” is the brain-child of Junaid Akram which is Pakistan’s only book swapping library. There are a total of 3 such initiatives in function within Karachi and Lahore and has donated thousands of books for already existing libraries into remote areas in all four provinces.

Junaid has also collaborated with a fellow-YouTuber into renovating a government school which was handed to them in a very bad condition. Now the school strength is thrice as much as it was before due to cleanliness and accessibility to basic facilities.

Future projects will be rejuvenating existing libraries in Hunza, Gilgit and some areas in Balochistan.
